Nika choreographs for the Season 17 Finale of So You Think You Can Dance

In the summer of 2022, Nika choreographed a futuristic, out-of-this-world hip hop routine for the season finale of one of the most iconic and well-known dance shows of all time, So You Think You Can Dance. The routine was performed by contestant, Keaton Kermode, and SYTYCD All-Star, Lex Ishimoto. Nika tapped into her out-of-the-box creativity to incorporate the dancers’ athletic and technical skills into a fresh, groovy, mad-scientist themed routine to Drake’s hit song, “Goin’ Bad”. The episode can be viewed now on Hulu, Fox, and Tubi. Nika’s impressive work and bubbly appearance on the show was her debut as an individual choreographer on its American version, but she has also choreographed for SYTYCD Portugal, Ukraine, and was an assistant choreographer to creatives Nappytabs and Brian Friedman in past seasons.
