Choreographer Nika Kljun and dancers of the Bolero Dancing School performed at the charity sports event Tek in hoja za upanje 2001 (Running and walking for hope 2011).
The mentioned event, 8th in a row, was organized by the Slovenian association for the fight against breast cancer, Europa Donna, and it was held on September 24th in Ljubljana’s park Tivoli.
The Saturday afternoon marked by the spirit of sport and movement was additionally spiced by the entertainment program, where there was no lack of laughter, music and of course dancing trouve ici. The performance of women groups, Fantasy and Women Power, under the leadership of Nika Kljun and her dancing club BOLERO, got the audience so hyped up that even some of them joined in the dancing.
Nika and the founder of Bolero, Janja Pušl, also expressed respect towards people with cancer. As they said their will to live can be a inspiration to all of us to slow our (too) fast paced life tempo, live healthier and not worry about the minor things.
